What to Bring:
Generally the weather on Maui is balmy, sunny, and beautiful. There is always the chance for some rain (sometimes more so than others), and it tends to get cooler in the evenings and at night. The atmosphere is comfortable and casual, all of the workshops take place in the yogs studio at the retreat center (with the one exception in this case of a public show with Krishna Das at the local yoga studio, Studio Maui). While there are some extra yoga mats, it would help to bring your own if you prefer to use one (the floor is carpeted and they also have towels that we can use). There are plenty of cushions, back-jacks, and regular chairs. There is a beautiful hike to some waterfalls on the property, so if that interests you, then plan to bring suitable outdoor shoes with good traction. The property is generally well lit, however for some nighttime exploration, it may be useful to bring a flashlight. We usually have insect repellent on hand, but feel free to bring your own as well.
Eco-Tents:
If you are staying in one of the tents, please read this carefully:
The tents are raised up on wood platforms and do come with a futon mattress, a pillow, and towels. The bedding is not included (blanket, sheets), so please remember to bring your own :) and please bring a flashlight.
