FELLOWSHIP LIVESTREAM: Navigating the Human Predicament with Duncan Trussell
April 11, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm PDT
“The game is not to push away the world, the game is not to get caught in it—the game is to, as Christ said, ‘Be in the world, but not of the world,’ to be simultaneously empty and full, to be somebody and nobody. It’s all these paradoxes you have to embrace. There’s nothing to do, so get on with it.” – Ram Dass
Duncan Trussell joins the Ram Dass fellowship live stream to offer insight and wisdom about the paradoxes of being human on a spiritual path.
All of us seem to be born into the experience of separateness – complex ideas about who and what we are. The conditioning that comes along with that sense of “somebodiness” is what we are each contending with virtually all of the time. It’s our curriculum, and everybody’s enrolled. The least we can do is acknowledge or remind ourselves that this is part of the predicament of being human.
This “being human” and embracing our humanity might very well be one of the paradoxes of life that leads us back to our ever-present soul and sense of oneness with the whole. With authenticity and humor, Duncan explores the paradoxes of living in the world today on many channels simultaneously – body, personality, ego, soul.
Duncan Trussell is an American actor and stand-up comic, known for his podcast The Duncan Trussell Family Hour. He appears on the Netflix series The Midnight Gospel. Known for his esoteric beliefs and his openness and honesty, he embodies the spirit of both Ram Dass and Maharaj-ji and speaks often of their influence during his podcasts.
We would love to join the “fellowship-livestream-duncan-trussell” – it is 2 o clock in the night at ours.
Sadly we will not make it. Any options for listening to the recordings?

Hi there, yes the replay for the event can be found on this very page once it ends. Enjoy!
Will this be streamed live on YouTube?
do you have any advice for dealing with anxiety from tinnitus if any of you experience it yourselves or just have any general kept wisdom for dealing with it maybe from others experiences that you know of? i’ve reached out to mindfulness and meditation in search of making some peace with it but i think i need some guidance
Excellent! I am tucking the kids in and and can’t tune in right now, but have a long commute tomorrow. Will definitely listen to this tomorrow.
Also, Duncan — I love your podcast, Midnight Gospel is amazing, and your interview with Hamilton Morris from a few years ago was fantastic. You spread joy, keep it up.
Okay, this has to be the most relieving content ever heard. I’ve been taking too much of my spiritual growth way too seriously. This relieved a lot of angst. I love how not being on any path is the path. This interview will lift the heavy load . WOW ~ thank you!
beautiful. I enjoyed this interview. thank you.
Say, a couple of weeks ago you had a “general” satsang event, and I could not make it although I was wanting to attend. Do you plan to have more of these general satsangs centered around Ram Dass?
Hi Robert! Yes, please sign up for our general fellowship at ramdass.org/fellowship and you will receive monthly email invitations to join future events. Cheers!
