Women’s Satsang: Spirituality, Mental Health & the Divine Feminine with Genevieve Walker

August 25 @ 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm PDT

How does our spiritual practice influence our mental health? When is spiritual practice not enough? And how do these questions apply specifically to women and our unique nervous systems? Together we will explore these questions, along with a discussion of how the many faces of the divine feminine can support our spiritual life and mental health.

Genevieve Walker is a psychotherapist, Buddhist practitioner, violinist and composer. She is well known for her longstanding role as an accompanist for Grammy-nominated artist, Krishna Das, who she has toured and recorded with extensively.

Her two solo albums  “Walking Home” and “Home Songs”  explore the intersection of music, motherhood, home, and spirituality.
In collaboration with Nina Rao and Chandra Easton, Genevieve founded the 21 Taras Collective, which aims to bring the 21 Taras alive through mantra, music, and devotion. Their first album will be released in the fall of 2024.
Genevieve was born and raised in Canada and lives in Northern California with her husband and two sons. She practices music, psychotherapy, and family life by the sea.

  • bring forward the wisdom of women for the benefit of all beings and the earth.

Our Values include:

  • Lovingkindness
  • Honoring relationality and inclusivity
  • Allowing for ambiguity and mystery
  • Celebrating the light as well as the dark, embodiment as well as ascension
  • Blessing the web of interbeing that connects us all
  • Respecting people over performances
